ACLS CERTIFICATION WITH ACLS EDU
At the onset of a cardiac emergency, time is life. A heart attack can strike at any moment, and the effects can be devastating. ACLS EDU offers AHA approved and accredited ACLS classes to teach you everything you need to know to help save lives.
ACLS Certification Course Information
ACLS certification is geared towards healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies or personnel in emergency response. Upon successful completion of the Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) class, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct ACLS course.
Additional Information
The Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructor-led course teaches students the importance of preventing cardiac arrest. Students will learn advanced medical skills necessary for ACLS certification, including recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). The ACLS class also outlines working in high-performance teams, administering early and continuous CPR, and delivering high-quality post-cardiac arrest care.
CEU HOURS
The ACLS certification course is a continuing education activity approved by the American Heart Association, a CAPCE accredited organization. CAPCE Activity Number: 20-AMHA-F3-0040 This CE activity is accredited for 9.75 Advanced CEH by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). Upon completion of the ACLS class, students will be issued Same Day ACLS CEUs, and students may claim the continuing education units via email.
ACLS Class Requirements
Students attending the ACLS certification course must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age or with an adult
- Purchase the 2020 ACLS Provider Manual or eBook
- Select an instructor-led ACLS class location
- Provide a First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number
- Be on time for classes – Tardiness of 15 minutes or less considered
- Cancel within 48 hours of your class date for a full refund or reschedule twice
ACLS Provider Course Completion eCard, valid for two years
