Online BLS Certification Classes with ACLS EDU

Every year, heart disease accounts for an estimated 7 million hospitalizations and over 350,000 deaths in America alone. When cardiac arrest strikes, our BLS online classes will give you the confidence and skills you need to take charge of an emergency in any scenario. Specifically designed to teach the basic steps of CPR and rescue breathing for adults, children, and infants, our BLS certification course can help you save lives. You have the option to attend the class in-person and get certified online. In our BLS online classes, students will learn appropriate procedures and use of life-saving equipment for administering breaths, plus CPR techniques as a loan rescuer or two-person team. When students successfully complete our BLS online classes, they will receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

Online BLS Certification Course Information

For those that need an in-depth refresher or have not completed BLS classes, the BLS certification online course is the appropriate choice. Experienced BLS providers that have recently held an active BLS certification should sign up for the BLS online renewal course. 

Training focuses on the following: 

  • Preventing cardiac arrest
  • Continuous and early CPR methods
  • Algorithm training
  • CPR and basic life support (BLS) fundamentals
  • Signs and symptoms of cardiopulmonary arrest
  • Post-cardiac arrest care
Additional Information

The online Basic Life Support instructor-led course teaches students the importance of monitoring life threatening emergencies. Students will learn advanced medical skills necessary for online BLS certification, including the administration of proper chest compressions, use of an AED, as well as appropriate ventilations. The class as a whole outlines the use of basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.

CEU HOURS

This continuing education activity is approved by the American Heart Association, a CAPCE accredited organization. CAPCE Activity Number:16-AMHA-F3-0302 This CE activity is accredited for 2.5 CEHs by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education (CAPCE). Upon completion of the BLS Update Class students will be issued Same Day BLS CEUs, students claim the continuing education units via email.

Students attending the BLS Certification Online Course are required to:

  • Purchase the 2020 BLS Provider Manual or eBook
  • Purchase the Adult & Child CPR Anytime Kit or Rent the Online BLS Equipment Kit
  • Purchase the WNL Practi-CRM CPR Monitor or Rent the Online BLS Equipment Kit
  • Purchase the Laerdal Mini Anne Plus AED Training Kit or Rent the Online BLS Equipment Kit
  • Provide a First Name, Last Name, Email and Phone Number
  • Complete Course Registration and Payment Via aclsedu.com prior to class
  • Refund requests for classroom-based courses must be made 2 Days (48 hours) before your original course start time.
  • All refunds will be subject to a fee of 4% to cover the cost charged by our credit card merchant processing company.
  • You are limited to 1 free reschedule requests per registration.
  • Reschedule requests must be made before your course start time.
  • No refunds will be given once a class has been rescheduled.
  • All product sales are final and no refunds will be issued upon completion of sale.
  • Be on time to attend - Tardiness of 15 minutes or less considered.
  • In-Person Students are subject to be observed by other online Students Via Zoom.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructor-led course teaches students the importance of preventing cardiac arrest. Students will learn advanced medical skills necessary for BLS certification, including recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes (ACS). The BLS class also outlines working in high-performance teams, administering early and continuous CPR, and delivering high-quality post-cardiac arrest care.

WHAT DOES THIS COURSE TEACH?

Students attending the BLS certification course must meet the following requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age or with an adult

Purchase the 2020 BLS Provider Manual or eBook

Select an instructor-led BLS class location

Provide a First Name, Last Name, Email and Phone Number

Complete Course Registration and Payment Via aclsedu.com prior to class

Recognize bradycardias and tachycardias that may result in cardiac arrest or complicate resuscitation outcome

All refunds will be subject to a fee
