BLS Renewal Classes with ACLS EDU

When someone around you collapses with a cardiac arrest, the first instinct for many people is to panic. However, you want to be calm, cool and collected. More importantly, you want to know what you need to do immediately to save a life. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification course is an excellent program that you can enroll in to learn how to take decisive action when a cardiac emergency occurs. ACLS EDU is proud to offer BLS courses approved by the American Heart Association (AHA) and conducted to the highest standards.

BLS Course Information

The BLS certification course is primarily geared towards first-line healthcare and rescue professionals. These are people who are typically the first to arrive on the scene of a cardiac arrest. This means that this course is ideal for prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, and in-facility hospital providers. However, the BLS certification course is also open to anyone who wants to be equipped with the right information on how to save a life if a cardiac emergency occurs. Upon successful completion of the course, all students receive a course completion card. This card is valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

Additional Information

The BLS renewal course is led by seasoned healthcare instructors. They will focus on teaching both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills. There will be a strong focus on how to perform high-quality CPR. These skills are applicable in both prehospital and in-facility settings.
