How Do Online CPR Courses Work?
Whether you’re interested in online ACLS courses, BLS courses, or PALS courses, you can expect the same virtual classroom setup across the board. Our instructors use two HD cameras to optimize the experience for online learners. Since much of the training is meant to be used in emergency situations requiring teamwork, we encourage online learners to collaborate in problem-solving. Using the cameras, instructors may present to the class during online CPR training as they would if the students were sitting in the same room, as well as switch to a dummy view so that students can closely observe the techniques required to save a life during a cardiac event. All online students purchase or rent their own hands-on equipment, which allows instructors to monitor and evaluate success. Upon successful class completion, students earn an official AHA Provider eCard.
