Is the Online ACLS Renewal Legitimate?

The American Heart Association requires an in-person, hands on skills assessment as part of their certification program, which is not available online. The AHA does not usually accredit, approve, nor endorse any fully remote ACLS renewal course certification. However, due to COVID-19, the AHA has temporarily adjusted these guidelines. The fully online ACLS renewal course must observe the same standards as cited above, including instructor-led courses and the use of the same equipment and materials.
