Course Information
The NRP Provider Course introduces the concepts and basic skills of neonatal resuscitation. It is designed for health care professionals involved in any aspect of neonatal resuscitation, including physicians, nurses, advanced practice nurses, nurse midwives, licensed midwives, respiratory care practitioners, and other health care professionals who provide direct care during neonatal resuscitation. This is the Instructor-led skills session (hands-on portion of the course) Part 2, upon completion students will be issued a NRP Course Completion eCard valid for 2 years.

- Initial Assessments of Newborns
- Positive Pressure Ventilation
- Neonatal CPR and Intubation
- Medication Dosing and Administration
- Integration of all Neonate Skills (Neonatal Megacode)
COURSE REQUIRMENTS
Students attending the NRP Skills Session are required:
To register for Part 2 - Instructor-led skills session, students must have previously completed Part 1 Online. Part 1 Online of the NRP course can be accessed through www.healthstream.com/hlc/aap. The online portion of the course is $35 and will be paid directly to Healthstream once you have created an account. Once you have completed Part 1 Online, you have 90 days to complete Part 2 - Instructor-led skills session.
